In our first collection Node, the concept of a joint, being the area where multiple parts meet, was being explored. The series consists of six unique pieces, that physically act as joints. Each individual joint is holding together its complementary wooden parts and forming a new furniture piece. A strange, unexpected, and organic form of the main pieces originates from the basic structural need, which is then emphasized in size, material, and colour. The pieces that we have designed for the collection, have a transformative power of making any space your home. Apart from being foldable, light, and practical, it is also a timeless designer piece. Objects are speaking to people through their natural materials, specific shapes and creations that are meaningful to them and their environment.
Our collectibles are designed for restless and creative people, for the modern nomads. With their flexibility and unique shape, they can occupy infinite spaces. Because of its colorful nature and suggestive shape, Nodes itself work as sculptural pieces or even useful objects. With just a bit of an imagination, our collectibles can be whatever you want them to become.
The Node is made from bio-based colored resin, which is a transparent material with a soft matte finish. Our objects are made using SLA technology and then manually processed. With transparency of the piece, the internal structures of the joints are suddenly visible and, in a way, highlighted. The objects are designed to naturally interact with light sources and cast sharp and soft shadows into the space, which is surrounding them. Because of their distinctive colors, they have the ability to magnify the interior with a colorful statement.
As a contrast to the Nodes, The Links or the linking elements of the furniture are made from locally sourced wood. The wood that we chose for our parts is White Oak wood, which is strong, durable, highly resistant, and naturally beautiful. The beauty of timber is its honest texture, warmth and tactility. Traditional craft, namely woodworking, complements futuristic technology of the production of the main parts.
Our Nodes are expanding into the digital world, further into another dimension. We are making furniture for the future, where each physical object has its digital duplicate, which is obtained with each purchase and serves as a certificate of authenticity.
